This short two-hour tour starting at 2:00pm each afternoon serve as an introduction of Yellowknife to the first time visitors. It features stops at the Legislative Assembly of the NWT and the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, as well as a drive through downtown and Old Town, guiding about the history and the life style of Yellowknife and the people.
In winter, we will drive onto the Great Slave Lake on its famous Ice Road, and get off the bus to see the ‘ice’ when its safe to do so. (It become safe to drive on the ice road by early December.) In summer, we will climb the Pilot’s Monument, you will also enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of Great Slave Lake, the city, and far beyond.
