Product Description

We will take you on our tour of Winter Activities at Aurora Village for your experience of Snowshoe Nature Walk. You will be joined by other guests who are booked on other activities. In addition to your snowshoeing experience, you will enjoy a host of other winter fun including tubing on the giant slide, marshmallow roasting on the fire pit, visit the kennel to see our dogs for photo op, etc all included in the tour price. You will have about three hours to take in the winter afternoon in a safe, comfortable, and beautiful environment. Yes, we have washrooms, and place to warm up! Help yourself to hot drinks.

By the way, Dining Hall is open for lunch with deli sandwiches and soup & bannock for purchase. So, you don’t have to rush with your late breakfast or early lunch in town.

On the Nature Walk, you’ll learn about the local traditions of the land, the wildlife and the plants that can be found here that have been used for centuries in traditional ceremonies and healing processes.  Keep your eyes open, and you’ll likely see paw or hoof prints of local wildlife!  You’ll also be shown a very important survival skill: how to make a fire quickly.
