Dream catchers are one of the most fascinating traditions in Indiginous culture. The traditional dream catcher was intended to protect the sleeping individual from bad dreams, while letting positive dreams through. This 2 hour lesson will guide you through making your own dream catcher so you will always have a souvenir from your vist to Yellowknife.

What is a dream catcher?
People mostly use them for decoration today but dream catchers have a long history among First Nations people. They were given to children to hang over their beds to ward off bad dreams.

During this 2 hour lession you will learn more about the dream catcher while making your own to take home with you.

Please note, you will need to make your own way to Aurora Village HQ in Yellowknife, no pick ups are available
